Hello N395, here is my first post (I was going to be bombastic by using the phrase "inaugural post", but realised that the usage of inaugural is so totally wrong in this context)!

Chinese New Year is a great time for Families to gather together, catch up on the old times ETC...
Of course, this year I had a great time, and picked up precious lessons about life along the way.

Flexibility:
One lesson I learned in my overseas trip to Malaysia. The charter buses in Malaysia has amazing flexibility and adaptability. To cut long story short, after much meandering in Malaysia in our first day there, we arrived at a town called Segamat, right at the Southern most tip of Johor. We were hoping to hop onto a bus that will bring us to Muar, near the small town where my maternal grandparents house is. However, it was a Saturday and already rather late. There was a charter bus that was heading towards Kuala Lumpur instead. To my surprise, my mom somehow managed to negotiate with driver to pick us up and drop us at our location as there were remaining seats and the bus was passing by that particular location.
This tells me that flexibility is really a great trait for us to have. God only gave us ten laws. Laws cannot be bended. However the rest are just rules and restrictions created by man that can be manipulated. Be flexible!
